We know how important the venue is when you come away from home, whether
for a stolen few days, a family holiday, or especially a big reunion.
Staying here guarantees a stunning landscape, plenty of resources and
ample comforts - think of Dukes Farm as a welcoming canvas upon which
to create a great break!
The Farm, with its 130 acres of pasture and woodland, dingles and hedgerows,
literally smiles across at the Black Hill. Our stretch of the River Monnow,
Bronze Age burial chamber and other treasures are mapped for you to explore.
The Games Room is heated and has a pool table, table tennis, punch bag,
table football, chalk wall and dartboard (bring your own darts).
The Boot Room is available 24hrs/day, and has access,
a public phone (no mobile coverage), and a wide selection of DVDs, books,
games, tourist
pamphlets, walking guides and maps. Also an iron, ironing board and hair
dryer.
The Gardens have a sunken trampoline and various seats and nooks.
Indoors, we’ve made life easy. The barns are
equipped to a high specification; they are well-stocked, stylishly furnished
and spanking clean. Arrive to find your high quality king-size
beds made
up with pure cotton on down duvets, topped with bundles of towels. Fires
are laid, with electricity and dry wood inclusive in prices. Kitchens
and bathrooms are replenished before each stay with basic supplies. Click here to see what we provide.
Items for loan are available: cots, high chairs, a put-u-up for odd-night
extras, or pet blankets. For anything else: just ask, and we always see
what we can do!
